Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Kuwait Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top navigation and maps applications in Kuwait on a unified platform revealed interesting trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Kuwait Finder from Public Authority For Civil Information saw a consistent weekly download trend, starting at approximately 6.4K downloads and experiencing slight fluctuations, ending the quarter with around 5.2K downloads. The weekly active users initially peaked at about 13.7K, followed by a gradual decrease to approximately 11.4K.

Google Maps maintained a steady download rate with minor variations, concluding the quarter with about 3.9K downloads. The app's active users remained robust, averaging around 420K, with a slight dip to 407K mid-quarter, before stabilizing.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic exhibited a fluctuating download pattern, ranging from 2.4K to 3.3K downloads. The active users showed resilience, starting at 175K and peaking at 186K before settling around 173K by the end of June.

Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $3.7K in mid-April. Downloads showed a significant surge in early April, reaching 5.8K, before declining to roughly 670 downloads by the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored this trend, with an early quarter peak of 7.3K, tapering to about 2.2K by June.

Google Earth maintained a relatively stable download trend, beginning with 1.4K downloads and closing the quarter near 1.2K. Active users started at 3K, with a slight increase mid-quarter, finishing with approximately 2.7K.
